Anarc lives in Deluti Union in Bangladesh. It was an area that suffered a lot of damage during the cyclone.  He described his life before the storm as “enjoying retirement, living alone, and receiving support from his son.

When the cyclone hit, Anarc when to a local government shelter. This building was solid and made of concrete. Once the storm has passed he headed back home, wondering what would be left. Of the buildings he passed he said “It wasn’t looking good.” He found that his home had been severely damaged.
