Where is Honduras?

Honduras is in Central America. To the west it shares borders with Guatemala and El Salvador. To the east is Nicaragua. Its northern coastline is on the Caribbean Sea. Honduras also has a short section of coastline in the south on the Pacific Ocean.

Honduras’ position in the Caribbean sea makes it vulnerable to hurricanes. Hurricane season is between June and November each year. Some of the country is also affected by drought, causing people to leave their homes.
