Kiltwalk is a unique sponsored walking event that enables participants to raise money while getting outside and active, as well as celebrating the enduring symbol of Scottish identity.

If you are based in Scotland (or would fancy a trip there!) and would like to raise money for ShelterBox, this is the perfect opportunity to do so!

Why not take on this challenge in 2024 with friends, family or colleagues. There are four events happening at different locations across Scotland and you can choose one of three distances – a Mighty Stride (22-26 miles), a Big Stroll (11-15 miles) or the Wee Wander (3-6 miles)

To take part, you need to pay a small registration fee of £20 and gain support through sponsorship.

The dates and locations for 2024 are:

  • Glasgow – Sunday 28th April
  • Aberdeen – Sunday 2nd June
  • Dundee – Sunday 11th August
  • Edinburgh – Sunday 15th September

We will then be in touch with you to offer support and guidance for your fundraising challenge.

However much you raise, you will be helping us to provide vital aid items to support families who may be left with nothing following disaster or conflict.

Here are some examples of what your fundraising could pay for:

£425 could provide a family with a tent, a space for a family to call home.

Raising £60 could provide a family with a water filter giving them access to clean drinking water.

Raising £35 could provide a family with the flexible shelter tool kit with two tarpaulins.
