In August 2007 HRH The Duchess of Cornwall became the charity’s President and Royal Patron, following her visit to the Helston HQ that summer.
The Duchess and the Prince of Wales were first introduced to ShelterBox whilst on an official visit to Pakistan in 2006 where they learnt of our work helping the victims of the Kashmiri earthquake.
ShelterBox patrons include the actress Miss Joanna Lumley OBE, Lady Mary Holborrow, Lord Lieutenant of Cornwall and Cornish-born Olympic rower Annie Vernon.
