Thank you for considering a Year-10 Work Experience Placement with ShelterBox.

As an Equal Opportunity Employer all applicants will be treated fairly. We have no set entry criteria for acceptance and all year-10 work experience placement students are welcome to apply. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our People Assistant on [email protected]

This placement aims to introduce you to an office environment and how a disaster-relief charity operates at its Head Quarters. There will be multiple sessions a day from different departments such as Supply Chain, Finance, Emergency Response and the Exec team. We will deliver sessions in slightly varied formats from presentations to more interactive/scenario sessions, but please note that this is not a practical placement.

If you are interested in a Work Experience placement with ShelterBox, please follow the steps below

Apply now

Step 1

Fill out our application form and ensure all parts are completed.

The deadline for this is Friday 31st January 2025

Step 2

If you are successful at the application phase, you will be invited to an interview.
These will take place around the beginning of February (dates to be confirmed).

They will be friendly and relatively informal, so please don’t feel too nervous about them. It’s more about us getting to know each other better.

Notes:

All applicants will be notified as to whether they have been successful in securing a placement as soon as possible. Please note that we will ask for further information from you if you progress to the next stages.

Remember to treat this application as if it is a real job you are applying for!

NB: You will need to arrange your own transport to and from ShelterBox HQ and provide your own lunch and refreshments.

Dress code is comfortable attire.
