ShelterBox and Nord Anglia Manila are working in partnership to help families in the Philippines rebuild their lives and regain hope after disaster.
Trek the Taal

The students at NAIS Manila are taking on the ‘Trek the Taal’ Challenge. Over a 2 week period, every student will be attempting to cover 22.5km – the equivalent of the distance of trekking once around the Taal volcano.
The Taal volcano erupted in 2020 and over 580,000 people were affected, with many taking temporary shelter in crowded evacuation centres or staying with loved ones. ShelterBox responded quickly to the devastation caused, supporting around 2,000 families with essential items like shelter kits, tarpaulins, rope, mosquito nets and solar lights.
The brilliant students at NAIS Manila are asking for sponsorship as they complete their treks from home, where they’re running, biking, swimming their way to the 22.5km. If you would like to support their fundraising efforts, please do so here:
All money raised goes towards supporting ShelterBox’s vital work in the Philippines.
Super Typhoon Rai
ShelterBox is responding in the Philippines after Super Typhoon Rai (Odette) caused widespread devastation.
Our teams at ShelterBox have supported people many times in the Philippines – and we will again. We have an in-country office and emergency shelter aid stored locally. We will work with Rotarians and local contacts to reach families as soon as possible. But we can’t do it without your support.
Please donate today to help families rebuild.
Your donation will provide shelter and other essential items for families affected by this terrible disaster. Any additional funds raised over what is needed will go towards our wider work, providing shelter to families who need it after disaster.
