This year we’re celebrating 20 years of ShelterBox!

Over the last two decades, we’ve grown from the Rotary Club of Helston Lizard in Cornwall to the international humanitarian organisation that we are today.

Your incredible support over the years has made our work possible. Thanks to you, 1.5 million people have received ShelterBox aid since 2000. That’s communities affected by disasters and conflicts in nearly 100 countries.

We’re delighted to have received these wonderful anniversary messages from Her Majesty The Queen Consort, who has been our President since 2007, the Rotary Club of Helston Lizard, who came up with the original idea for ShelterBox in 2000, and Holger Knaack, who is the Rotary International President.

Why not add your own message of support on our Facebook page? We’d love to hear from you!

Her Majesty The Queen Consort wishes ShelterBox a very Happy 20th Birthday.

The members of the Rotary Club of Helson Lizard, who founded ShelterBox, share a message on our 20th anniversary.

Holger Knaack, Rotary International President 20-21, reflects on how we’ve grown with Rotary.

It’s wonderful to be celebrating 20 years of ShelterBox, but in a world where 1 in 100 people are displaced from their homes, we know that our work is more urgent than ever. During the global coronavirus pandemic, we can save more lives and help keep the most vulnerable safe. And in the face of climate change, we can support those who are bearing the brunt of extreme weather and the conflicts it creates. But we can’t do any of this without YOU.

Thank you for an incredible 20 years of support. With your help, we will reach even more families after disaster for the next 20 years and beyond.
