22 for 22 Challenge
Step into 2022 with your best foot forward by taking on the 22 for 22 challenge!
Celebrate the start of a new year with a fundraising challenge. Take on 22 miles, your way. Will you walk, swim, cycle, or run? Do it in a day or a mile a day for 22 days? The choice is yours.
Every mile you take will be a mile towards shelter, warmth and safety for families in areas affected by disasters all over the world. Your fundraising could give a family living in the Philippines the materials to help rebuild their home after the devastation of Super Typhoon Rai, which left over half a million people homeless in December 2021. After the typhoon wreaked havoc through the country, families are left in desperate need of emergency shelter. Shelter which ShelterBox is currently preparing to deliver.
You’ll also earn yourself a free ShelterBox t-shirt!

Here's how:

Step one: Decide on your challenge
Are you thinking of taking the challenge on yourself, with a group? Will you walk, run, swim or cycle? Will you complete your challenge within 24 hours or over time?

Step two: Set up your JustGiving page
Now you know what you’re going to do it’s time to set up your fundraising page. Have a think about how much you would like to raise, we’ve included some aid price points below to show the type of items your support could provide. Once you’ve set up your page we’ll get a ShelterBox t-shirt in the post for you!

Step three: Link your page to Strava
If you use Strava to track your 20 miles you can link it to your fundraising page so your friends and family can automatically see how your challenge is going. Here’s a handy guide to help.

Step four: Share your journey
Let your friends and families know what you’re up to by sharing your challenge on your social media pages. You can get support for your challenge and meet other participants by joining our Facebook group!

Step five: Start your challenge!
And you’re off! Track your distance using your phone, smart watch or other device and make sure to keep your friends and family up to date with how you get on – good luck!
