ShelterBox’s highly trained response teams get to work to contact a range of partner agencies and utilise all resources available to them to get our aid where it needs to go.
Working through partners enables us to go further in a response and response teams will always identify where we can work with partners.

International project partners in disaster relief
ShelterBox and Rotary International are official Project Partners in Disaster Relief. In over 90% of our disaster responses, we connect with local Rotary.
By working together in partnership, we are able to collaborate and combine resources to ensure that we can support more communities in desperate need of shelter after disaster.
Rotary in-country can provide vital introductions to local agencies, assist with distributions, help with train the trainer sessions so they can pass on knowledge of how to use the aid and provide translation and crucial local knowledge to response teams.
But it’s not just Rotarians on the ground that support ShelterBox, Rotary clubs around the world also help raise vital funds and awareness. By working together ShelterBox and Rotary are able to reach more families whose lives have been devastated by disasters or conflict.
As Rotary International’s project partner, ShelterBox can help attract new members and inspire your community through raising awareness of the impact of our partnership around the world. Together we can share stories of hope and resilience from the communities we reach in partnership every year.
