ShelterBox attends humanitarian exhibition in Brussels
ShelterBox has been invited to attend the global humanitarian and development aid event AidEx 2012 on 24-25 October in Brussels, Belgium.
With this year's theme being the 'Changing face of aid,' AidEx gives humanitarian and development aid professionals the chance to unite to shape the future and to facilitate improvements in the delivery of aid and development.
The event offers a European platform for networking opportunities; new technologies and market developments; and informative conference sessions and workshops covering items such as professionalisation of aid, stock prepositioning, social media and aid, collaboration and much more.
ShelterBox is sending a delegation to attend and will be exhibiting the disaster relief tent and box contents amongst over 200 other suppliers who will be showcasing the latest humanitarian relief and development products and services.
'AidEx provides an exciting opportunity for ShelterBox to not only showcase its work in delivering shelter and other lifesaving equipment to families affected by disasters, but also enables us to network with other front line aid agencies and discover new aid products and technologies,' said ShelterBox Head of Operations Ross Preston.
