International Dance Supplies Ball raises thousands for ShelterBox
A Devon-based world-leading dance supplies company has raised a staggering £7,200 for ShelterBox disaster relief after a Masquerade Ball in May.
International Dance Supplies is the UK's largest wholesale dancewear supplier with a customer base of over 14,000 dance teachers and dance shops. They chose ShelterBox as their Charity of the Year 2011-2012 and have helped to raise vital awareness and funds amongst their staff and customers.
Anne Walker MBE, Founder and CEO of International Dance Supplies, said: ‘What a fabulous evening! We had a huge amount of fun and raised a spectacular amount of money thanks to the generosity of our friends and colleagues. This was our first charity ball, and given the success of the evening it won’t be our last.’
Tim Bunting, ShelterBox UK General Manager, said: ‘We are very grateful for the support of such a prestigious company as International Dance Supplies. The money and awareness that they have raised will go towards our ongoing support for families displaced by disasters around the world.’
